The cryptocurrency market today saw many cryptos bleeding red, but here is a list of top 10 performing cryptocurrencies for January 19, 2023. As per the chart, Bitcoin(BTC) has dropped slightly and is now currently at the $20K mark. However, crypto lovers see the dip as not much of a deal.

The top cryptocurrency, Bitcoin (BTC) is currently trading at $20,846.68. BTC is slightly down by 1.92% in the past 24 hours. However, Bitcoin has also surpassed JP Morgan in market capital.

Additionally, BTC’s 14-day relative strength index has reportedly gone down from more than 90 but stands over 70. The current strength index is just the threshold for overbought conditions.

Recently, the government of US state, Texas has proposed allowing Bitcoin as an authorized investment. This can be seen as positive news in the light of the crypto fluctuations.

Ethereum(ETH) is second on the list of top performing cryptocurrency and is currently trading at $$1,531.01. Echoing BTC’s rate, ETH too saw a dip of 3.21% in the past 24 hours. 

The global cryptocurrency market capital as of today is 1 Trillion, but is down by 3.7% in the last 24 hours. The decline in the market prices can be attributed to the US clamping down on crypto exchange Bizlato.

Solana (SOL) is also witnessing a dip at $21.43 and is eleventh on the list of top cryptos as of today. Memecoin, Shiba Inu saw a drop of 11.34% and is currently trading at $0.00001114 after it gained traction yesterday due to the announcement of the launch of Shibabrium update.
